PETA Gets ‘DeFlocked’

Please bookmark this link so that you can check back weekly for the latest exclusive comic strip. DeFlocked is the new nationally syndicated comic strip from Hollywood comedy writer Jeff Corriveau. Starring Mamet (comedy's most lovably derelict sheep), the strip exploded onto the scene in May 2008, and newspapers have been clamoring to join the flock. The buzz on this strip is loud, and even HBO's Larry David counts himself as a new fan of DeFlocked. Corriveau created a spinoff of his creation, called 10% Wool, exclusively for PETA, and it can only be seen here! Check back for these special strips, which will appear biweekly on SaveTheSheep.com as well as on our blog The PETA Files.

The flock is always looking to grow. If you like Jeff's humor and you'd like to see the original DeFlocked in your own local paper, please contact the newspaper's editor and request that the paper add DeFlocked to its comics pages!

Meet the Artist

Jeff Corriveau is a comedy writer who has written for some of the top shows in the country. His syndicated comic strip, DeFlocked, launched in papers nationwide on May 5, 2008. Over the past eight years, Jeff has contributed to Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He has also served as head writer on the Emmy Award-winning show Talk Soup. Corriveau's talents are always in high demand in Hollywood, and he looks forward to one day becoming petty and entitled.

Some of the glitterati who have counted on Corriveau to make them coherent in the Queen's English include Jenny McCarthy, Colin Quinn, Sarah Silverman, Jaime Pressley, Aisha Tyler, Brooke Burke, Star Jones, and Kevin Nealon and many others too litigious to list.

His daily brushes with unbridled narcissism and clueless pomposity fuel his unique point of view.

Corriveau has now turned his full efforts to print media out of a childhood love for comic strips and a desire for substantially less money. He counts among his influences the great Norman Lear sitcoms of the 20th century (guess who Mamet is based on?) and vintage port.

A transplanted New Englander, Corriveau lives and writes in California.
